Keeping your cat away from your food

Your cat is likely very interested in your food because it appeals to her on some level. Some dishes may seek delicious and worth a try while others may be very different from what she’s used to, making them something interesting to check out.

In order to keep your cat away from your food, you will need to take the time to understand how she is likely to try and sneak a bite. Your pet will need to be able to think about what you can do to offer her a comfortable place to spend her time while you eat. This should be in an area where she can’t access your food and you will make a point to not give her any of your meal. Be sure to never leave your food unattended and to place your meals in areas where your little fur ball doesn’t typically spend time. Your local vet Fort Collins, CO can offer additional advice.
