Picking Up After your Cat

If your cat likes to wonder around other people’s yards, you may want to do a quick walk in behind him to make sure he’s not leaving a big mess or pile of poop anywhere. Even though you have a litter box set up for your cat (even outside on the patio or in the garage), he still may choose to use your neighbors garden or another spot as his outside litter box. It’s important to be considerate of your neighbors and friends and pick up after your cat. You can use doggy potty bags to pick up your cat’s poop. You can also use a scooper to collect the poop and then dump it in your own trash. If your cat is spending more and more time in another yard over yours, you may need to keep him indoors for a while to discourage the habit.
