Havana Brown

The Havana Brown is a beautiful medium build cat that ranges in size from 6 to 10 pounds. This beauty originated in England when breeders purposefully crossed the Siamese with the black house. The breed was introduced into the U.S. in the 1950s. The cat is muscular yet elegant and graceful. His coat is short and tends to be more of a reddish brown than a blackish or dark brown. The coat is also said to feel link a mink coat. If showing the Havana Brown you will need to establish a bathing routine early on. Havana Browns that aren’t shown simply require a light brushing or rub down with a rubber comb or mitt. The Havana Brown is well known for its coat color and its green eyes.
