Cats with FLUTD have difficulty peeing. There are many conditions that contribute to FLUTD. These include the presence of bladder stones, urinary tract infections, crystals in the urine, inflammation of the bladder (cystitis), urethral plug, bladder polyps, stress, and even cancer of the urinary tract. Although there are many reasons for the occurrence of FLUTD, the symptoms that are manifested are similar.
