Why an Extra Car Key Can Save Your Cat’s Life

It’s always a good idea to keep a spare key in your car or in your purse or wallet that way if you need to lock your cat in the car you’ll be able to get back in. Keep a spare key outside of the car and on you at all times when traveling. If your cat gets locked in a hot car you’ll be able to get him out. If you can’t find the key then break the window. The window can be replaced but not your cat. If you’re traveling and you need to stop at the rest stop or go in a store for less than 10 minutes then use the spare key to leave the car running with the A/C on and then use the other key to lock your cat securely inside. Make sure the emergency break is set on the car. More tips can be found at your local trustworthy pet clinic Burlington ON office.
