Car Rides with Your Cat

Contrary to popular belief, some cats enjoy going for car rides. You may see stories online of a cat and owners adventure cross country on a road trip or a weekly ride to the grocery store. Like dogs, some felines actually enjoy sticking their head out the window and taking in a breath of fresh air. A few things to keep in mind when traveling with your cat include taking a cat carrier along just in case you break down or need to remove your cat from the car and place her somewhere safe. Cat safety seat belts are also available and should be used to keep your cat safe and secure in the car. If possible, have your cat ride in the backseat for extra safety. If she rides in the front seat, make sure she’s strapped in and doesn’t run about. For more tips, ask your vet Woodstock, GA.
