Does My Cat Need Snow Shoes?

Whether or not your cat wears or even needs snow shoes is entirely up to you. Most cats are not good with change especially when that change involves wearing clothing or shoes. Try putting the shoes on your cat before going outdoors and have her adjust to them. Use the material shoes and not the rubber shoes as those come off easily and appear to be the most irritating to both cats and dogs. After your cat walks in the shoes for a while, take her outside and she how she walks outdoors and in the snow. If the snow is not heavy and you don’t need your ice spikes on then your cat probably doesn’t need the shoes either. If there’s a lot of snow on the ground then it may be easier for your cat to walk without shoes. Just place petroleum jelly on her feet so they will wash easier.
