Maintaining Your Home for You and Your Dog

We might not realize it, but every time we clean our home, renovate it, add things to make it more live-able and enjoyable for us we are also doing it for our canine companions. When we take a dog in we bring him into our home and we make a commitment to provide him a home that is safe, loving and secure. If there are things in your home that could harm your dog, please take a moment to access the situation and make chances or repairs accordingly. If there’s a hole in the fence, fill it so your pup doesn’t escape. If the air conditioning or heater goes out don’t leave it until you get home for work, call a repair person or make arrangements so your pup will be comfortable. It’s a big responsibility to care for your family and your pup. If you need help, give your Washington DC vet a call.
