Cons of Having Multiple Dogs

Having more than one dog in the house can have its pros and cons. Multiple dogs can keep each other company if you have to be out of the house for long periods of time. However, multiple dogs means multiple work. Whether you have big dogs or little dogs, when you have more than one there’s an increase in vet bills, food bills, grocery bills for toys and treats, and boarding because outrageously expensive. When you travel you will have to pay even more for a dog sitter or a boarder, which can play a role in whether or not you get to travel. Multiple dogs need care at the same time and that’s no always possible. For instance, if you don’t have a fenced in yard you will have to walk them together or go in shifts.
