Tracking your Dog with a GPS

Did you know that you can track your dog’s movements with a GPS system for pets? If you’re concerned that your dog is getting into trouble when he’s out during the day, try a GPS device to see exactly where your dog goes and what he does in the daytime. Pet GPS devices generally attach to the dog’s collar and then connect with a smart phone or computer app which enables monitoring of your dog’s movements. This is a great alternative for older dogs that tend to wander. You may find you have to keep your senior dog indoors because he wanders too far or gets lost. Now you can let him out and monitor his movements on GPS. If you can’t find him, just turn on the app and retrieve his location. He may just be in the backyard taking a nap. For more information about using a pet GPS, consult with your veterinary clinic Dunn, NC.
