Choosing a collar for your cat

Your cat is a big part of your life and you want her to be as safe as she can be in your care. This means offering her ways to do this, like a collar that can help her communicate with others if she ever gets separated from you.

Your cat’s collar will let others know that she has a home to get back to and it will carry her identification tags to let them know how to get in touch with you if needed. Your pet will also need her collar to have a break-away feature so she won’t get stuck anywhere. Try to find a collar that will be comfortable for her so she won’t try to slip out of it on purpose. Make an effort to find the correct size to help make this happen. For additional information, please contact your local Ellicott City, MD vet.
